Following on from last year’s announcement of Driver: San Francisco’s Limited Edition, a new product listing that has appeared on GAME’s website has revealed that Ubisoft is also set to release a ‘Special Edition’ of the upcoming open world racer.
Driver: San Francisco’s Special Edition will include a copy of the full game, and come housed in exclusive packaging with two in-game bonuses, including a 1963 Aston Martin DB5 for use in the game’s multiplayer, and a Taxi single-player challenge.
The good news is that the extra content won’t cost you a penny more. The console versions of the Special Edition are currently available to pre-order for £39.99 – the same price as the standard edition.
The Special Edition is currently only available to pre-order from GAME, suggesting it may be exclusive to the retailer in the UK.
The more expensive Limited Edition (or Collector Pack as it’s officially known) includes a copy of the game, as well as a comic book and a replica of Tanner’s iconic Dodge Challenger, plus four bonus single-player challenges and three multiplayer vehicles. That’ll set you back £69.99.
Driver: San Francisco launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC on September 2nd.
