Visceral Games has released the first ever footage of Dead Space 2′s upcoming single-player PDCL, Dead Space 2: Severed.
The ten seconds of footage, which you can check out by clicking the link to YouTube through to your right, was featured in this week’s episode of Questions with Steve, a weekly show that pits fans’ questions to Dead Space 2′s executive producer Steve Papoutsis.
"Severed does focus around Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdoch, characters that are from Dead Space: Extraction." said Papoutsis commenting on the video.
"Anything beyond that I really don’t want to get into because I don’t want to wreck the surprise. So check it out, it’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna have lots of cool stuff in it, and I hope you and everybody else enjoys it."

There’s still no date or price for the DLC, but according to EA, it’ll be hitting Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network ‘soon’.
