Deep Silver has confirmed that Dead Island players will be able to access the ‘Bloodbath Arena’ downloadable content later this month.
The content is bundled with Special Editions of the game as well as a pre-order bonuses at selected retailers.
Bloodbath Arena gives players four areas for single player and multiplayer survival as you take on hordes of undead gaining experience points to take back to Dead Island’s campaign mode.
Leaderboards are also included in the package as well as a new weapon, the brain wave bomb.
Those with codes will be able to redeem the content when it goes live on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and other online outlets.
If you didn’t purchase the special edition, the content will be available to purchase one the same day as at cost of around £7-8.
Dead Island is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC today.
