The first expansion for Skyrim is “about as long as a faction line”.
The first expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will take at least ten hours to finish according, to an interview with the game’s lead artist Matt Carofano.
“Dawnguard will be significantly bigger than any Fallout DLC,” Carofano revealed to GameFront. “We wanted to do something more in-depth than that. It’s not as big as Shivering Isles, but there’s still a lot of content there.”
“It’ll take between 10 and 20 hours to beat,” he added. “So about as long as the Mages College or Companions Guild quests”
The Dawnguard expansion places gamers in the middle of a war between a new vampire hunting faction and the blood drinkers of the night. Oh, and there’s a new crossbow weapon as well! It’s been a while since we’ve booted up Skyrim, so we’re looking forward for another reason to get back involved.
Dawnguard will be available via Xbox Live from 26th June, with PS3 and PC versions due later in the year. Timed exclusivity deals are very silly things, aren’t they Microsoft?
