Darksiders II will launch in June 2012, THQ’s Danny Bilson has confirmed, with Metro: Last Light following ‘next summer’. The two had previously only been given vague 2012 release dates.
Bilson revealed the prospective release dates to VG247, adding that both games have “the potential to be in that category of event entertainment.”
Darksiders II, which was announced earlier this year, is a sequel to 2010′s action-adventure that runs parallel to the events of the first game, following Horseman Death as he attempts to find proof of War’s innocence.
Metro: Last Light, meanwhile, is a follow-up to last year’s Metro 2033, and is set a year after the events in the Moscow Metro.
Look out for both on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U next year.
