Capcom Europe says it’s surprised by the success of Move-enabled Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition calling it "the best Move game out there".
Speaking to Eurogamer.net, Capcom’s David Reeves said the current Move line up is a "bit partyish" whereas Resident Evil 5 is showing a remarkable growth curve since Sony’s wand was released in September.
"Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition we put out as Move compatible, and it’s really surprised us," said Revees. "The number of orders our sales manager keeps bringing to us every day… ‘David, we’ve got more for Resident Evil 5!’"
"When you look at the line-up for Move it’s a bit partyish; Resi Evil Gold is the best Move game out there and it’s doing very well, it’s a remarkable growth curve."
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition launched on both PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year containing both DLC chapters as well as extra online modes and costumes.
Move Support was added to the PS3 version via a patch released shortly before Sony’s motion controller hit shelves.
