If you thought you’d already seen all the pre-order DLC Battlefield 3 had to offer, think again.
Amazon is the latest retailer to announce that it’ll be carrying exclusive pre-order DLC, supplying customers who pre-order the game with an exclusive code to download the ‘Specact Kit DLC’.
According to the retailer, the Specact Kit DLC lets you “expand your customisation options with this set of eight unique multiplayer skins which include a unique extra camouflage for each class on either side.”
There’s no word on whether the DLC will be made available for download to other players following the game’s release.
Battlefield 3 is well on the way to being the game with the most amount of pre-order DLC ever.
Everyone who pre-orders the Limited Edition version of the game will be provided with the Back To Karkand Map Pack, a map pack featuring remade maps from Battlefield 2, regardless of where they pre-order from.
Play.com, meanwhile, are offering bonus dog tags, while GAME has the exclusive on The Physical Warfare Pack, which features a barrage of exclusive items and weaponry, including an exclusive light machine gun, a shotgun and a flash suppressor.
The Physical Warfare Pack’s exclusivity caused outrage amongst the gaming community when it was announced that the content wouldn’t be available to download as DLC at a later date, with gamers complaining that it would give certain players an unfair advantage.
EA later said that they would be making the DLC available to download following the game’s release.
Battlefield 3 launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 28th. Can your computer run it?
