Warner Bros has announced that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Batman: Arkham City will also include support for both stereoscopic and anaglyphic 3D, in addition to the PC version as revealed yesterday.
“Gamers on Xbox 360 and PS3 can delve deep into Arkham City’s breathtaking environments and immersive gameplay in stereoscopic 3D when playing on any 3D HDTV and wearing active shutter glasses that are compatible with the television,” read a press release released by Warner Bros this morning.
But even if you don’t have a 3DTV, you’ll still be able to enjoy Arkham City in 3D on your HDTV.
“Fans with HDTVs can enjoy Batman: Arkham City in anaglyphic 3D with technology compatible with all high definition TV sets and visible to players wearing 3D glasses available for the video game.”
It was announced yesterday that the PC version of Arkham City would include stereoscopic 3D support via NVIDIA 3D Vision technology.
Batman: Arkham City launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 21st. A Wii U version is due next year.
