New trailer and demo inbound this year.
Konami and Platinum Games’s Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will launch in early 2013, the publisher confirmed in the game’s E3 trailer.
Revengeance has been out of the spotlight since December 2011 when Konami announced a revived version of Metal Gear Rising with Platinum Games (of Bayonetta and Vanquish fame) handling development duties.
Series creator Hideo Kojima’s previous team were unable to finish the project. Those involved cited the game’s ‘cut anything’ mechanic as a problem with its development.
A demo of the game will be included in the Zone of the Enders HD Collection on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, due to launch this Autumn. The demo will be publicly released later in the year.
