Just the thing to inspire some Christmas cheer? Not quite…
Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 focusing on the game’s brutal war crime premise, and as you’d expect it’s assuredly grim.
The footage features mass graves, civilians getting executed and a lone sniper bringing some of the perpetrators to justice. This trailer certainly isn’t for the faint of heart.
If it wasn’t for the inspired soundtrack choice we wouldn’t be mentioning this trailer at all, as to be frank it’s a bit too bleak with Christmas just around the corner. We much prefer this kind of trailer, which plays up the empowering appeal of the sniper shooter sequel:

Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 will be released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during Q1 2013.
