Original Killzone to get the HD treatment.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that it will launch a Killzone Trilogy later this year.
The Trilogy will bundle PlayStation 2 shooter Killzone with PS3 sequels Killzone 2 and Killzone 3.
The original Killzone, which first launched in 2004, will be spruced up with high definition 720p visuals and gain Trophy support in the process.
Killzone’s controls have also been brought up to scratch to be “more in line with the rest of the series.”
In addition to all three games, all the downloadable map packs including Killzone 2′s Steel & Titanium, Flash & Thunder, and Napalm & Cordite, as well as Killzone 3′s Steel Rain, Retro, and From The Ashes packs will also be thrown in.
The Killzone Trilogy will be released on October 24th with an curious RRP of £40.84.
Killzone HD will also be launched on its own via PlayStation Network although dates and pricing are yet to be announced.
