Father of Harvest Moon Yasuhiro Wada has announced Project Happiness, a new IP being developed with his studio ToyBox.
In collaboration with Rising Star Games and Natsume, Project Happiness is a working title for Wada’s next game set to be shown behind closed doors at E3 next week.
Details are scarce but the game is aimed at gamers young and old and promises “adventure, discovery, and wonder.”
“Project Happiness is an IP that is very close to my heart, and stems from years of working on other great titles like the Harvest Moon series,” said ToyBox CEO Yasuhiro Wada.
“Project Happiness is not only meant to be a fun game experience, but I also want it to help expand the player’s view of the world, and make them ponder what their life means to them.”
Wada is famous for creating the Harvest Moon series as well working on Goichi Suda’s No More Heroes games and cult-horror game Deadly Premonition.
No platforms have been announced for Project Happiness at this time.
