Existing IP is ‘not Rock Band or Dance Central’.
Harmonix is currently working on three new titles, the Rock Band studio has confirmed to GamerZines.
“We have three unannounced games in development,” revealed Harmonix publicist Nick Chester.
Chester added that two of those three titles would be based on entirely new IPs.
The remaining title will be based on an existing IP although Chester stated it would not be a new entry in the Rock Band or Dance Central franchises.
GamerZines also quizzed Chester on the job listings posted on Gamasutra that suggested the developer was working on projects for next-generation platforms.
Although Chester would not go into specifics, he did confirm that the studio was developing titles for next-generation hardware.
Harmonix has recently released Rock Band Blitz on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network as well as wrapping up development on Kinect-sequel Dance Central 3.
