BioWare finally sort out their platform issues in time for a new multiplayer event, ‘Operation Exorcist’.
Good news PlayStation 3 owners! Now you can take part in Mass Effect 3′s online operation events which have previously been exclusive to PC and Xbox 360 gamers.
The latest event, titled ‘Operation Exorcist’, is open to all platforms and tasks the entire Mass Effect 3 community with killing 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms between April 27th 6:00pm and April 30th 5:00pm PST and individual squads with surviving on any map facing enemies on gold difficulty. Victory packs and Commendation packs will be rewarded accordingly.
It’s also important to note that in order to take part in this online initiative you’ll need to set the Upload Gameplay Feedback option to on via the online options menu, otherwise you won’t get your hard earned rewards.
We had some concerns that Mass Effect 3′s online multiplayer component was simply tacked on, but it seems both EA and BioWare have really thought hard about its inception and events like these should dissuade certain owners from trading in the title for at least a little while longer.
For more information about the latest event head to BioWare’s official blog.
