Bioware brings the fight to our front yards with new content.
A free multiplayer expansion pack for Mass Effect 3 will be released to Xbox Live players next week.
The content is titled ‘Earth’ and will be free to download as of July 17th.
A release date for the PS3 and PC versions has not been announced at this time.
A product listing for the Earth DLC popped up last month, promising much in the way of new maps, weapons, and character classes.
“Mass Effect 3: Earth: The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake!” the description read. “Mass Effect 3: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features three new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow and Fury!”
