Far Cry 3 has all the shooter content you’d expect; a bulky single-player campaign, numerous competitive multiplayer modes, co-op and a fully functional map and mission editor.
That last one is rather rare in ShooterVille, but the latest trailer shows off what tools players have available to them and it’s all rather impressive. The functionality reminds us a lot of ShootMania, with an emphasis on players creating their own content rather than being slaves to whatever DLC the developers can knock up.

Far Cry 3 faired very well when we reviewed it last week, and it seems the sequel will be sticking around for a long time to come.
