New HD compilation packages overlooks Budokai 2.
Namco Bandai has announced that the original Budokai and Budokai 3 will be packaged together in a new HD re-release heading to consoles this winter.
Interestingly the Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection (catchy name, isn’t it?) doesn’t include the second game in the series, which is more than a little bizarre if we’re being honest. Sure it’s seen as the weakest entry of the series, but surely this isn’t really a collection without it?
Regardless the two Budokai games that are included feature remastered visuals, full trophy and achievement support and the same acclaimed gameplay – well the third one is pretty rad anyway.
The trailer is shown below. We wouldn’t bet against a Budokai Tenchaichi HD re-release sometime in the future…
