Arkane’s action game looks to fill a BioShock Infinite sized hole this October.
Bethesda has today announced that Dishonored will be released on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 on Friday, 12th October.
The first person assassin game has been courting a lot of favour in the media recently after a couple of very well received demos of the game in action. One of which we had the pleasure of viewing last month, and you can read our insights in the latest issue of PCGZine.
“We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people’s attention,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda. “We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!”
So there you have it, we’ll learn even much more about this gloomy sandbox experience come June. We’ll eat our pink fluffly hats if Dishonored isn’t featured prominatly in either Microsoft or Sony’s big keynote presentation, especially as 2K has already confirmed that BioShock Infinite won’t be making an appearance at the show.
If the public demos will be good as the ones currently being shown behind closed doors, you’ll be in for a treat.
