Has Studio Liverpool been saved?
A cryptic message posted on the WipEout 2048 Facebook and Twitter accounts has hinted that the recently closed Studio Liverpool may not be as dead as we thought.
Sony announced late last month that it would be closing down the WipEout developer, who revealed shortly after the news broke that it was working on next-generation projects.
But could Studio Liverpool be back from beyond the grave?
“We.Are.Alive” reads a tweet from the WipEout 2048 twitter account suggesting the studio may have been salvaged.
An image of an unknown WipEout title (pictured below)was also posted online hinting at news of a new title in the franchise.
Nothing has been confirmed at this time regarding the revival of Studio Liverpool or a new entry in the WipEout series.
