“Gamescom is a pillar for our industry” says EA.
Following news that Microsoft would be ducking out of Gamescom this year, EA has announced its plans to bring big name franchises to the Cologne show.
In addition to its annual media briefing ahead of the five day expo, EA is promising new info on franchises including Fifa 13, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Crysis 3, and SimCity just to name a few.
“Gamescom is a pillar for our industry“, said SVP of EA Europe Jens Uwe Intat.
“The show is truly unique in its capacity to draw both industry and consumers to a showcase of the year’s hottest entertainment offerings and we’re looking forward to being there in force again in 2012.”
Gamescom will take place in Cologne, Germany from August 15th-19th.
