Capcom revives Darkstalkers with Darkstalkers Resurrection for XBLA and PSN

When two become one.

Capcom has announced it plans to bring old-school fighter Darkstalkers back from the dead with an updated versions of Darkstalkers 3 and Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge for digital release next year.

Both games will be bundled together in Darkstalkers Resurrection, spruced up with HD graphics, replay sharing, Spectator Mode, achievements, Challenge/Tutorial Mode, and unlockable artwork and videos.

Capcom will also be adding online multiplayer supported by GGPO (Good Game Peace Out) software to provide a lagless experience.

Building upon the online modes added to Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and Marvel vs. Capcom Origins with upgraded matchmaking, region matching, ping lock, and ping display.

Replays can also be uploaded to YouTube and Watch With Friends mode allows players to get together and discuss live matches.

Darkstalkers Resurrection launches on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network in 2013 priced at 1,600 Microsoft Points and $14.99 (EU pricing TBD).
