Capcom to host pre-Gamescom ’12 conference

Capcom promises an “event to remember.”

Capcom, developer and publisher of the Street Fighter and Resident Evil series, has announced it will be holding a press conference prior to its biggest ever presence at Gamescom 2012.

It will hold the conference a day prior for the event in Cologne, Germany at 11:00 CET and promises an “event to remember.”

Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono recently confirmed via Twitter that he would be attending the European show next month suggesting he may be making an announcement at the event.

Capcom is expected to be showing off Resident Evil 6, Lost Planet 3, and DmC Devil May Cry at this year’s Gamescom.
