850MB more of cloud storage for Plus subscribers.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will now be able to make use of a whole gigabyte’s worth of cloud storage – up from the original 150MB.
The additional storage can be used once a 4.25 firmware update has been downloaded and installed.
Sony announced it would be upping cloud storage allowance back at Gamescom in August.
Bumping up cloud storage is just one of the new incentives that Sony hopes will bring more players to its PlayStation Plus service that provides a host of free downloadable titles, exclusive discounts, free themes and gamerpics, and is soon to include PlayStation Vita in its service.
Those subscribing before September 19th can get 25 percent off the typical 12-month subscription fee.
