Furious 4 not dead, has “evolved”.Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 still in development confirms Gearbox

’s Randy Pitchford has confirmed that the curiously absent co-op World War 2 game Brother in Arms: Furious 4 is still in development.

The game’s fate came into question earlier this year when it discovered a trademark for the game had been rejected.

Furious 4 was also a no show at this year’s E3 after being revealed the previous year.

“The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving,” said Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford.

“One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.”

So when will we hear more?

Not before the release of that’s for sure.

“Borderlands 2 ships in September, so we’re spending most of our time talking about that, and Aliens Colonial Marines comes out after that in February.

“I might come around to talk about Furious Four between the releases of Borderlands 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines, but certainly I won’t before the release of Borderlands 2.”
