Borderlands 2′s downloadable Mecromancer class will be available from today rather than the original October 16th release date, Gearbox Software has announced.
“So – here’s the surprise, Mechromancer for Borderlands 2 is ready about a week earlier than I promised. October 9, all platforms,” Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford revealed via Twitter.
Pitchford added that the content “should be available to download on all platforms by the end of the day.”
The Mechromancer class is free to those who pre-ordered Borderlands 2 and will cost 800 Microsoft Points/ £7.99 if you didn’t.
The skill tree for the Mechromancer class was revealed in full earlier this morning.
