Vita-exclusive COD game to see the struggling handheld through the cold winter nights.
Sony has confirmed that Activsion’s lucrative Call of Duty franchise will hit PlayStation Vita in holiday 2012.
A new Call of Duty title was announced for the Vita back when Sony first unveiled that portable in January 2011 as the NGP.
Though no footage of Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified was shown at the conference, Sony’s Jack Tretton said it will deliver “the complete Call of Duty experience” suggesting online multiplayer will make the cut too.
Black Ops Declassified was just one of only three titles shown off for Sony’s struggling handheld, which included Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Sony says it hopes to have 60 titles available for the Vita by the end of 2012.
