Sony announces sneaky deals for PlayStation gamers.
Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed III Liberation, a PlayStation 3 exclusive spin-off to this holiday’s upcoming sequel.
Liberation introduces the series’ first female assassin Aveline, who will take to the rooftops of eighteenth-century Louisiana. Her role will be to intervene with the Spanish forces seeking to take over the U.S. state while the rest of the country is up in arms with the American Revolution.
Borrowing techniques from her French and African heritage, Aveline’s arsenal will include a poison-dark blowpipe, duelling pistols, and a machete.
Ubisoft confirmed a number of PlayStation exclusive features for fans playing both AC III and AC III Liberation including unlockables such as Connor’s tomahawk, characters skins, a multiplayer character, and upgraded ammunition pouches.
Sony also announced that a Crystal White PlayStation Vita (Wi-Fi) bundle will launch alongside the game on October 30th, which will include a copy of AC III Liberation and a 4GB memory card.
