To get gamers well and truly prepared for Dishonored’s arrival next month, Bethesda and Arkane Studios has released the first in a series of animated shorts detailing the game’s unique universe.
The first person stealth-em-up is set in an Dickensian future where the aristocracy rule with an iron fist leaving the rest of society to struggle on against the threat of a earth-shattering plague; plebs versus politicians if you will.
The first of the three part series, titled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’, is narrated by one of the game’s Hollywood Stars, Chloe Grace Moretz, and its embedded for your enjoyment below:
Usually we scoff at pre-release trailers that don’t feature gameplay, but the quality of the animation, score and the fiction of this short video certainly legitimises its existence.
Dishonored is released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 9th.
