Season Pass buyers demanding refunds as second episode fails to show up.
Update: Telltale Games has since confirmed the game will launch tomorrow.
Fans angered by the delayed second episode of The Walking Dead game have voiced their disappointment on Telltale Games’s Facebook page.
Despite never setting firm date for the Episode 2 ‘Starved For Help’, Telltale had hinted at a launch before the end of June, behind the company’s lofty ambition of releasing a new episode each month – the first came out in late April.
The follow-up to the first episode of The Walking Dead game, which was met with high scores from critics and managed over one million downloads in its first two weeks on sale, was sent off for approval from Microsoft and Sony earlier this month.
The publisher is now feeling the wrath of its riled up fans who’ve been posting on Telltale Games’s Facebook page, some labelling the company ‘an absolute disgrace’ and ‘liars’, others demanding a refund on their season pass that entitles them to the entire five-episode season.
Telltale Games has since announced that the second episode will be released on June 27th.

While I congratulate TTG on an amazing first episode, they have REALLY dropped the ball with the second episode, its taken FAR too long to come out – its about bloody time! Lets hope they don’t make the same mistake for the next 5 eps
Gamers get pissed off about everything, why is it news all the time when the gaming community acts like a bunch of fucking babies?
Seriously you guys can’t come up with anything better than telling me a bunch of gamers cried like babies and their mommies had to change their diapers?
Gamers are over entitled fucks.
you are an idiot. this is like buying a ticket to a movie and them saying ” oh yea the movie got held back in rating so you can watch it in 3 months”
retarded adults giving the rest of us a bad name.
Hmm – don’t think that’s fair! When you spend money, you expect to get what you pay for! I shelled out cash for ALL eps, and have had to wait an age for the next episode, I’m not angry, just a bit annoyed at the lack of communication from them – i.e. a release date! If they take you money, you expect results – that is all! Yes, a LOT of gamers are babies (most of those are kids) – to generalize is just dumb.
