Publisher pulls the reins on Platinum’s fighter once again.
Sega has rescheduled the release of Platinum Games’s zany beat-em-up Anarchy Reigns to early 2013 for the US and Europe.
This news comes as the game prepares to hit shelves in Japan in just a couple of weeks.
“The release of Anarchy Reigns has been re-evaluated. We now expect to launch in Europe and America in Q1 of 2013,” the publisher confirmed on Twitter.
Doubt was thrown on Anarchy Reigns when it failed to appear at this year’s E3 and its July release date was mysteriously pulled earlier this month.
The game was originally delayed from a holiday 2011 launch window.
Thankfully, Platinum Games, famed for such titles as Bayonetta and Vanquish, have plenty to be getting on with in the meantime.
Its Kojima Productions collaboration Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is slated for an early 2013 launch and Project P-100 was recently revealed for Nintendo’s Wii U.
