Activision will publish Rovio’s Angry Birds HD on consoles, the publisher has confirmed.
“We’ll have some news for you in about two weeks,” Activision told the Escapist.
“Wait until you see Angry Birds on consoles in HD.”
The publisher’s community blog One of Swords later confirmed the news.
Angry Bird maker Rovio is celebrating the latest milestone in the popular mobile hit’s career, which recently topped one billion downloads since launching in 2009.
Activision is likely to consider this a big coup for the publisher who already publishes such one of the industry’s biggest franchises Call of Duty.
