Frontlines Fuel of War preview for the PC
We've gone hands-on this month with Frontlines: Fuel of War, the massive shooter due out on the PC in March. Frontlines takes place in the near-future, a future where the oil is running out fast and the world has descended into war and chaos as nations slug it out for the last few drops of the black gold. And as you'd expect, you're at the centre of all this fighting, with all the weapons and military backup you could hope for. Tomb Raider Underworld preview for the PC
The end of 2008 will see a welcome return for Lara Croft, in the forthcoming Tomb Raider Underworld. Underworld will find Lara in Mexico doing what she does best, tracking down missing artefacts with huge spiritual importance and fighting off her rivals for the prize. We've had a hands-on preview of the game this month and we like what we see so far, with big improvements to the gameplay and to the technology behind the game. And it's only really half-way there, so we expect great things of Tomb Raider Underworld when it hits the shelves later this year. Universe At War Earth Assault review for the PC
With a plot worthy of even the most dedicated conspiracy theorist, alien-centred real time strategy game Universe At War: Earth Assault should appeal to any sci-fi enthusiast. Combining the sci-fi adventure with more than a mere taste of Command and Conquer, only with aliens ranked against you. Corny in places, but with good solid gameplay and some fast and frantic action, Universe at War: Earth Assault will be a welcome addition to the games library of any RTS fan.

Beowulf review for the PC

It's a cracking story of course, coming as it does from the ancient saga, and there's plenty of action and adventure in Beowulf the Game.
