GRAW 2 review PC

GRAW 2 review for the PC

In GRAW 2 - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, to give it its full name - you'll have to use all your tactical skills to stay alive. It's a shooter, but there's no rushing in blasting wildly in GRAW 2; you have to plan your attacks meticulously and take everything very carefully, making best use of your team of Ghosts to outwit your enemies and strike before they strike you. It's tipped to be one of the biggest games of the summer: find out how we rate it in our GRAW 2 review for the PC now!

GRAW 2 review for the PC
Tom Clancy might be a literate fellow, but that doesn’t grant him an excuse to pop his name in front of some of the longest game names in recent memory. Apologies to our art team for the dogs dinner at the top of this page. Since Ubisoft didn’t go for something snappy and punchy like Oblivion, or Bioshock this is going to have to put up with being GRAW2 for the foreseeable.
As the numerative indicator decrees, this is the sequel to the game that introduced us to Ghosts last year. As a tactical shooter in the same mould as its predecessor, this isn’t a game where you can charge into an open area screaming about how invincible you are. That scenario will inevitably lead to a state of deadness. Hideous, limbmangling, lead-and-shrapnel-induced deadness. You have to play it cool. Fortunately, this time around you don’t need to rely solely on checkpoints for your savegames. Now you can die as often as you like (or as often as the Mexicans outwit you)..
