Almost from the second it launched, Gears of War has been one of the defining games of the Xbox 360, and now PC gamers are getting the chance to play it too. Gears is a no-nonsense first person shooter, set in a ruined city overrun with aliens - you'll have an impressive array of weapons at your disposal, but you'll also need to duck and cover as you work your way round the city clearing out the alien horde.
