In this sequel, we're back in WW2, taking command of the British army or alternatively the German Panzer Elite as the two sides slug it out for control of Northern France. The brilliantly immersive, authentic and atmospheric strategy blast Company Of Heroes is being followed up good and proper.
What do we know?
The Allied and German armies of the first game are brushed aside like Poland’s defences in 1939. Your new command sees you in charge of the British 2nd Army, smashing your way towards Caen in northern France, or the German Panzer Elite who are determined to keep the swastika flying. The Brits are a formidable force, especially if you fancy yourself as a defensive general. They can lay down suppressing mortar fire and build trenches at great speed, redeploy bases closer to enemy lines and even use gliders to deliver tanks to weak points in your line.
