Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia review – PC
Packed with pop culture references, funny, fast-moving, just a little cheesy – this is Monster Madness. It’s a third-person shooter with a bit of a difference – unusually for PC games, it can be played by up to four people at once from the same machine. If you don’t have three friends willing to hack and slash the undead with you, then you can go online and play Monster Madness in the online multiplayer mode. Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia review – PC
You can almost count the
number of PC games that have
allowed for same-machine
multiplayer on one hand. Off the top of
our head, we can think of Worms, Lego
Racers, and Lego Star Wars, but then
the list begins to dry up. On consoles,
this concept is pretty much par for the
course, but for some reason,
developers have been shying away
from allowing same-machine
multiplayer on PC for years. Letting you
and up to three friends battle undead
hordes together from the same
machine, dropping in and out at any
time, Monster Madness : Battle for
Suburbia is the exception that proves
the rule.
