Without doubt, the Alienware P2 chassis is one of the best PC cases around. Its distinctive glossy finish, curved like the best of HR Giger’s designs, is unmistakable. It’s squat, chunky; looks as powerful as the high-spec components inside deserve to look. Most importantly, there’s stacks of room inside to allow for easy upgrading and good ventilation for hot parts like the memory and graphics cards. More gimmicky, but no less desirable, there are LED lights capable of 16 million colours concealed behind the logos on the side, the power button, the grill on the front and the door which glow through for that all important other-worldly effect. All can be independently programmed to flash or blend colours for particular system events – like running a particular game or receiving an MSN message. It’s top notch craftsmanship – our only real criticism is that compared to the NXT cases, it’s a bit noisy. Click here to continue reading the full Alienware P2 Chassis review now!
