Elven Legacy preview PC

Elven Legacy preview PC

Elven Legacy preview for the PC

Elven Legacy is the sequel to Fantasy Wars and is loosely a turn based strategy cum RPG. Except that it doesn't feel like one. It's fluid and fun, and sure it's not going to win over the FPS fans, but if you're looking for a dose of RPG RTS with heroes you can level and armies to command, then Elven Legacy is going to be your cup of tea. We've been playing it and we've got the full Elven Legacy preview in this issue of PCGZine.

Elven Legacy preview for the PC Lovers of fantasy games should be well acquainted with the efforts of Swedish publisher Paradox – most probably through 2007's turnbased strategy game Fantasy Wars. In which case, you will be glad to hear that Russian developer Ino-Co has wasted no time getting to work on Fantasy Wars' sequel, Elven Legacy, which should provide another irresistible dollop of elf-battling. Paradox took us out to Stockholm for a showcase of its games, and Elven Legacy was very much the star of its line-up. Turn-based fantasy games may not represent the cutting edge of the future, but they constitute a tried and tested genre which vast amounts of people love. And Elven Legacy doesn't feel turn-based – there's no selecting from menus as you perform your move, or waiting around for responses. Just move your units or click on an enemy to attack. To be honest, it feels more like an action game. Click here to read the rest of our Elven Legacy preview for the PC now!
