Back in the day, on a press trip to Westwood's old HQ in Vegas, we were being shown around the building by the slaphead who plays Kane (amazingly, he's not actually an actor). He'd been particularly pleased with himself all day, and the final stop was the blue screen room where the risible live action footage was recorded. After Kane had puffed himself up some more, he finally asked if there were any questions. With impeccable timing, yours truly piped up, "Why is it called a blue screen?" to guffaws from the assembled gaggle of geeks. Kane tried to fight back with a weak gag about blues musicians, but he was crushed, and inwardly livid. EA may have long since bought Westwood, but Kane's Wrath has (possibly) been simmering ever since, finally erupting in the form of this comprehensive expansion to the excellent C&C 3. The blue screen is back in business, with megalomaniac K ane hamming it up once more as he feverishly rallies you, the player, to do his bidding across a campaign that spans two decades, from the La zaruslike comeback of the Brotherhood of Nod following the Second Tiberium War, and encompassing the events of the Third Tiberium War and beyond.
