The Sims 3 preview PC
It's been three years in development already, and there's still another year to wait, but from what we've seen, the long-anticipated Sims 3 will be well worth the wait. Fans who have been kept busy with the many expansions and add-ons to Sims 2 will find themselves in a whole new world with the launch of Sims 3 in 2009 - literally, as the Sim world will now be an open neighbourhood where you'll have total freedom to wander as and when you please. We've had a hands-on look at Sims 3 this month and we've got to grips with some of its most exciting innovations, including the massive new Realistic Personality System that will give each Sim a totally unique take on his or her environment and the Create-a-Sim function that will allow you to customise your Sims to an unprecedented level. Age of Conan preview PC
As we wait with feverish excitement for the release in May of massive new MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, we've had the chance to chat with the game's product manager Erling Ellingsen. He tells us all about Conan's innovative mix of single and multi-player experiences, and how the single-player mode meshes with the MMO. There'll be plenty of PvP action in Age of Conan, and we find out all about that - from the low-level drunken brawling to full scale siege warfare involving whole guilds. Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 preview PC
Next winter the real-time strategy behemoth that is Command and Conquer will thunder on with the release of Command and Conquer Red Alert 3. With a whole new story arc involving time travel, the Soviets changing history and the rise of a Japanese superpower, there's plenty to get your teeth into here. The game is set to feature new aspects including naval combat, which will bring a whole new side to this RTS favourite. Bionic Commando preview PC
Spiderman meets Gears of War? Maybe, in forthcoming release Bionic Commando. In this somewhat belated sequel to the 1988 Nintendo game, the action will take place as much in the vertical as the horizontal plane, as your bionic-armed soldier leaps, swings and climbs his way through a ruined cityscape and takes on armies of terrorist enemies. Race Driver GRID preview PC
We've put on our special driving gloves this issue for a hands-on preview of Race Driver GRID, due out on the PC this June. Assassins Creed review PC

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 review PC
It's back to Vegas, baby, Vegas to deal with some unfinished business in Rainbow Six Vegas 2, the latest in Ubisoft's Tom Clancy franchise. While you're back in Vegas, it's quite a different landscape to the previous game - fewer casino settings and more diverse locations around the city - and you'll have a brand new alter-ego with command of a different squad this time. All the good bits of the gameplay are still there, but it's faster paced and with lots of exciting new content and features - can it really be better than before?
