Crysis review PC

Crysis review for the PC

Much hyped and hotly anticipated, Crysis is with us at last. And it's a spectacular shooter that fulfils all its promises - visually stunning, fast-moving plot, exciting gameplay. You'll have a full range of weaponry and plenty of enemies to use them on, plus you get to wear a super-charged nano suit, and who can resist one of those? But that's not all - as well as the enemies you can see, there's an invisible, malevolent force to watch out for... You'll have your hands full and you'll have to have your wits about you, but Crysis is a fully absorbing game that'll keep you blasting away through the night. Find out why it deserves our PCGZine Gold Award in our full Crysis review now!

Call of Duty 4 review PC

Call of Duty 4 review for the PC

Call of Duty 4 takes the series away from its World War 2 setting and brings it bang up to date with modern day warzones in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The 21st century update is a huge success for the game - there's a host of new modern weapons and you'll need to use camouflage and stealth and call on airstrike back-ups. With stunning visuals and sound and awe-inspiring cinematic scenes to back up the gameplay, we think Call of Duty 4 is the best shooter of 2007. Can you afford to miss it?

Supreme Commander Forged Alliance review PC

Supreme Commander Forged Alliance review for the PC

You'd be forgiven for mistaking Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, coming as it does less than a year after the last outing, for an expansion to the real-time strategy behemoth. However, Forged Alliance is designed to stand alone, and be played as a game in its own right. The fast and furious gameplay is exactly what you'd expect and more, and there's certainly plenty for confirmed Supreme Commander fans to get their teeth into, but is it too difficult for newcomers to the game to get the hang of without tackling its predecessor first? Expansion or standalone - find out in our Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance review now!

FEAR Perseus Mandate review PC

FEAR Perseus Mandate review for the PC

Fans of the huge hit FEAR will be looking forward to getting their hands on expansion Perseus Mandate, which revisits the psycho-terror shooter in its original timeframe and promises more intense action, terrifying moments and some decent plot development. Expansions to shooters though are often a disappointment after the rush of the original - will this be the case for FEAR Perseus Mandate?

The Witcher review PC

The Witcher review for the PC

The Witcher is an RPG for grown-ups - alongside the usual RPG fantasy fare of quests, magic and legendary characters is a very adult mix of sex, drugs, booze and more. All that's missing is the rock and roll... A humorous take on the genre, The Witcher should appeal to those who aren't normally fantasy fans, as well as die-hard RPG-ers, and it's certainly a different take on the standard RPG. We think the Witcher's worth a play - find out more about the plot, gameplay and all that adult content in our review.
