In the world of World In Conflict, it's 1989 and the Cold War has warmed up to boiling point, with the Russkies ploughing through France, Europe and the US of A, which is where you're thrown into the action, assuming that your PC is up to the challenge. It's not often that your jaw actually drops when reviewing a game, but this is proper drool-on-the keyboard stuff. Even when setting the benchmark to adjust for your set-up, the graphical clarity and detail is mind-boggling, an ultra-detailed world of building, tanks, planes, and of course massive explosions.
