The PC exclusive is set to be the best looking entry in the jet fighter series to date.
Namco Bandai has released the first shots of the refreshed edition of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, which will be exclusively available on PC next year with Games for Windows Live support.
Originally Assault Horizon was a console-exclusive, but early next year that changes as the Expanded Edition arrives on PC with optimised visuals and all of the previously-released DLC included for no extra cost.
The arrival of this new version marks the first time that Ace Combat has ever made its way onto PC and honestly it’s about damn time! The latest version of Project Aces’ series features a Hollywood-esque campaign, planes, helicopters, protracted turret sections and dedicated multiplayer and co-op modes, as well as a more accessible close-up dogfighting mechanic.
Of course all of this content was really only ‘new’ last year, but we’re still looking forward to seeing a slightly prettier version of it on PC anyway.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is set to be released on PC during the first few months of next year.
