On launch Hard Reset was criticised for its short and predictable campaign, but the Extended Edition changes all that with a new two-hour chapter which includes four new enemies, one new boss and new story content; all of which all be added to all versions of the game for free.

“To show our respect for all the PC gamers who picked up Hard Reset, we decided that the upcoming expansion will be FREE for all those who already own Hard Reset on Steam,” explained the Polish studio via a message encrypted in binary.

“The [upgrade] should be available sometime between the last week of April and the first week of May.”
