In an exclusive interview featured in this month's PCGZine, TopWare Interactive's Jake DiGennaro has outlined why he thinks Two Worlds II will restore gamers' faith in the fantasy based franchise.
"We're well aware that there were concerns surrounding the first game, and we have made no effort to make excuses its shortcomings," Revealed the publisher's community director.
The first entry in the Two World series met a very frosty reception upon release, earning a metacritic average of 65 on PC and 50 on Xbox 360. Needless to say, the developer Reality Pump is working hard to ensure that response doesn't happen again.

"Two Worlds II is really the franchise's opportunity for redemption, and one we have not taken lightly."
This renewed impetus can be seen with the game's new engine, better visuals and refined dialogue system. Whether this results in a better all round experience remains to be seen.
Two Worlds II hits the shelves on September 17th for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
