The debut trailer for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has been revealed on GameTrailers.com and unsurprisingly it looks very impressive. The plot seems to continue from the original featuring a slightly older and wiser Geralt exploring another fully realised RPG world.
In the teaser fans will see glimpses of a cave dwelling cannibal, bloody sword based combat, a maiden with evaporating clothes and a monster fresh from Clash of the Titans.

Curiously at the end of the trailer no publisher is shown, perhaps hinting that CD Projekt are going to distribute it themselves. It's unclear whether that's the case, but seeing as Good Old Games.com is managed by the Polish developer they aren't inexperienced in that field.
No release date or platforms other than the PC have been confirmed for this highly anticipated sequel, but that doesn't mean we won't hear about it more soon.
