This week we've got some cracking selections, which should keep you busy long into the weekend:
Snap up Frontlines: Fuel of War for £3.74!
Now we don't like to talk about price, but this title is more than worth the amount loose change in your pocket. Frontlines: Fuel of War is THQ's answer to the Battlefield franchise and despite being a great all around team-based shooter, it underperformed dramatically at launch. The game's premise of world torn apart by oil is handled in an interesting manner and the gadgets you get to play with in multiplayer are brilliant! Don't let this title be condemned to the bargain bin, snap it up and give it a whirl.

We've covered plenty of Infinity Ward related stories over the past few weeks, but this information absolutely blew our minds. During the first five days of sale, Modern Warfare 2 managed to gross over $550 million, narrowly beating the previous record holder, GTAIV. It would take us most of the weekend to figure out what we would do with all that money and even Activision's beloved CEO, Bobby Kotick, isn't sure as he has spent the past week offloading his own shares in the mega publisher. Perhaps the more important news is that the dedicated server crisis has finally been averted, all thanks to AgentGOD's wondrous code plundering. Be careful though as there may be some supernatural side effects, click the link of the right to see what we mean.
Are downloadable games affecting retail?
Great journalism should always attract attention and this week we've decided to highlight an illuminating article on PCR. Andrew Wooden talks to EA and Miles Jacobson from Sports Interactive to investigate how the PC platform is affected by both, digital and retail, distribution channels co-existing in a competitive market. The answer isn't as clear cut as we would believe and this article represents an authoritative outlook on what is a complicated subject. Also Jacobson reveals how he wants to form partnerships with laptop manufacturers in the future. We aren't entirely sure of the Football Manager's potential as a system seller but who knows...
