R.U.S.E is fast becoming a lunchtime hobby for us in the office, with its compelling bluff mechanics, thriving online community and beautiful combat. Fans of the game have been clamouring for more content since the beta launched a few months ago and opened up to others last week. We can confirm that the game is set to get its first update shortly.

You can always depend on the RAF.
The radical new RTS is set for the arrival of two new factions - Britain and Russia. You can see both new faction cards on the left, care of the official R.U.S.E Steam group, which announced the new inclusions last week.

We aren't sure why our resilience level is lower than other forces in the game though; we'll try not to take that to heart Eugene Systems.

RUSE
The Russian Bear grows hungry.
The other new faction is the U.S.S.R., known for their brute strength and large numbers of units at their disposal. After all, equipment is rarely going to be a problem if you use fear and punishment to fuel production.

We asked Ubisoft about a date when this content will become available, but we were told that there's no news to confirmation of date yet. We'll keep you updated on any further developments.

Surely Spitfires are inevitable.
