Since our lengthy interview with producer Jim Vasella, there hasn't been much news regarding Command & Conquer 4. It's the final chapter in the saga, so it's no surprise that EA are keeping everything quiet, but at least we have some new screens to conceptualise what the final game will be like.

You can tell why this call this map Junktown. You can see the selection of the shots on the left, featuring a new map named Junktown. The keen eyed amongst you will see a selection of classic units and structures including Flame Troops, Prism Towers and Spider Tanks. We can't see any brand new units but that's no surprise as the title won't launch until sometime next year. There's still plenty of time for announcements to be made.

The story is set around Earth's continuing struggle with the Tiberuim in the far future. Earth is beginning to die from the growing infection of the sought after resource and nobody apart from Kane has a solution.

Nod Prism Towers remain as effective as ever.We are surprised that there doesn't seem to be any Tiberuim in the released screenshots. Perhaps it makes sense as maybe the GDI have come up with a method of reversing the growth of Tiberuim. We have absolutely no information to back that up, but it sure is fun to speculate.
