With EA LA working on single player and DICE working on the multiplayer side it isn't something we consider infeasible and as Mr Goodrich explained it should raise the final quality of the game exponentially.
Dual development isn't something we commonly see in gaming, but BioShock 2 also employed a similar tactic and judging from the largely positive previews it seems to be working fine for 2K.
"I truly believe our audience will see the value in the end product and appreciate having two world class studios doing their very best to give them an experience that they'll not soon forget." Added EA LA's charismatic Producer - only time will tell.
